Initial Questionnaire

The Initial Questionnaire is the first questionnaire administered to newly starting LISS panel members. Each month the questionnaire is available for new panel members.

Project

Questions 114 - 149 were previously contained in the core module Religion and Ethnicity. From Wave 4 these questions were removed from Religion and Ethnicity and transferred to this questionnaire. These questions about nationality and origin are described in the codebook, but the respective data are not disseminated with a view to privacy considerations. Instead, these questions served to compute an extra variable ‘origin’ (150), in terms of broad categories.
